(Inter)national
In addition to the close links with its twin at Louvain–la–Neuve, the De Wulf–Mansion Centre is involved in a large number of national and international networks.
Within the KU Leuven, members of the De Wulf–Mansion Centre contribute to the activities of Lectio (i.e. Leuven Centre for the Study of the Transmission of Texts and Ideas in Antiquity, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance), the Institute of Classical Studies, the Institute of Medieval and Renaissance Studies, the Seminarium Philologiae Humanisticae, and the Leuven Centre for Irish Studies.
Together with research groups in ancient philosophy based in the Netherlands, at the Universities of Leiden and Utrecht, the De Wulf–Mansion Centre furthermore organises annual lectures and workshops as part of the Interuniversitary Centre for Ancient Philosophy (Centrum voor Antieke Wijsbegeerte, CAW). The De Wulf–Mansion Centre is also associated with the Thomas Institut of the University of Cologne, the Albertus-Magnus Institut in Bonn, and the UPR 76 "Centre Jean Pepin" of the CNRS in Paris.
Since september 2006, the Centre forms a part of the European Graduate School for Ancient and Medieval Philosophy, a joint enterprise of twelve universities (Amsterdam, Bari, Bonn, Cologne, Freiburg, Lecce, Leuven, Nijmegen, Paris, Pisa, Sofia, Würzburg). It is also one of the partners in the recently established Ancient Philosophy and Science Network between the universities of Berlin, Leuven, Princeton, Toronto and Chicago.
