Regulation for Socrates/Erasmus Exchange

KU Leuven - Institute of Philosophy - Faculty Regulation for Socrates and/or Erasmus Exchange

The KU Leuven Institute of Philosophy has a complete programme of philosophical studies in English in addition to the complete programme in Dutch. We offer full programmes in English leading to the BA, the MA, and the PhD.

If you would like to come and study in Leuven within the framework of an Erasmus exchange agreement, please take the following steps:

  • Contact the Erasmus coordinator of your home faculty.
  • Contact the Erasmus coordinator of the Leuven Faculty of Philosophy:

  • Fill out the registration form.
    Upon receipt of this form, you will be sent a K.U. Leuven registration package with useful information and an official permit to study here as an exchange student.
  • For information on study programmes, see here.
    If you need more details, do not hesitate to contact the International Programme Office of the Institute.
  • In consultation with the Erasmus coordinator of your home faculty, you fill out the Learning Agreement. It has to be approved also by the Erasmus coordinator of the Institute, prof. A. Cloots. Students can only choose courses corresponding to their study level.
  • Visit the pages of the KU Leuven International Office, especially those for Exchange Students.
