Diplomas and Transcripts
Diplomas
It is important to take the proper steps to receive your official diploma. Diplomas can be picked up at the Student Secretariat. (Building 115.04 Room 00.03 - Tel. +32 (0)16 32 63 47 - Opening hours).
If you cannot collect your diploma in person, you can either delegate someone else to collect it in your place by way of a written and signed authorisation. Alternatively, you can request that your diploma be sent by registered mail to your home address. Your request should include:
- your surname
- first name
- date of graduation
- date and place of birth
- correct and complete mailing address
Please send your request by post or email to Dries Simons.
Diplomas 2010-2011 are now available.
Transcripts
Transcript requests have to be addressed to the faculty. Transcripts include all grades. You can request transcripts by emailing Dries Simons.
Additional Information regarding the Academic Transcript (PDF) sent out together with the transcript.
Letters of recommendation
If you need letters of recommendation from professors here, be sure to get them before you leave. Make certain you explain exactly what points you want mentioned in the letter; European professors have a tendency toward understatement and/or stark honesty.
Certificates
International students often require various certificates for their home university or for the civil authorities in their home country, e.g. attesting to full-time enrolment and regular class attendance. These certificates are available, in Dutch or in English, upon request to the Registrar's Office in the University Hall. You can also use a web form for your request.
