A taxi from the Brussels International Airport to Leuven will take approximately 30 minutes and cost about € 60.
Direct trains from the airport to Leuven (Louvain) leave approximately every 30 minutes. The trip takes about 25 minutes and the fare is € 3,10. See the Belgian railways website for more information. There are taxis at the train station in Leuven to take you to your hotel for about € 5-10.
For those travelling by car, there is no free parking within the city of Leuven. Parking is available at the Ladeuzeplein for € 23 a day.
To reach the Husserl-Archives on foot from the railway station:
cross the square in front of the station ("Martelarenplain")
take the "Maria Theresiastraat", which is slightly to the left
at the fourth crossing, turn right into the "Tiensestraat"
after c.a. 100 m you will reach the "Kard. Mercierplein" (the first small square)
enter the courtyard to your left through the gate
The Husserl Archives are in the first building on the left side of the courtyard
