Open Online Courses in Philosophy
The main aim of the open online courses is to enable prospective students to prepare themselves for their pursuit of obtaining a degree in philosophy at the KU Leuven. At the KU Leuven you will get in touch with a wide range of philosophical disciplines. If you feel like your academic trajectory lacks basic logic, epistemology, medieval philosophy, phenomenology or political philosophy and you want to be prepared, this is the right place for you. Every course consists of a number of (topical) units. Every unit entails a 'watch', 'read', 'practice' section. After watching the web lecture, you are asked to read a book chapter, an article or a lemma. Depending on the specific discipline you are then expected to put the material into practice. Finally, the Want to know more?-section offers extra material.
