Commissions
Medieval philosophy is an ongoing, international project
To sustain this project, it is important both to acquire new resources and to update existing ones. This is precisely the work of our commissions, where specialists from all over the world come together to discuss the latest developments in their particular field. Their reports are published in the Bulletin.
At the General Assembly in Freising, the SIEPM established six new commissions in replacement of the previous (eight) commissions:
- Electronic Tools (Coordinator: Jean-Luc Solère)
- Critical Editions (Coordinator: William Duba)
- Latin Philosophy (Coordinator: Alessandro Palazzo)
- Islamic Philosophy (Coordinator: Fouad Ben Ahmed)
- Jewish Philosophy (Coordinator: Steven Harvey)
- Byzantine Philosophy (Coordinator: John A. Demetracopoulos)
