Scholarship without communication is idle
The SIEPM organizes every year a colloquium on a specific theme. Moreover, every five years, we organize an international congress, during which the general assembly of the SIEPM meets.
Annual Colloquia
The 2025 Colloquium will be in Buenos Aires, 3-5 September 2025: "Chaos and Order in Medieval Philosophy"
At the annual International Colloquium, the first of which was organized in 1989, the status of a specific research topic is analyzed. The proceedings of these colloquia are published in the series Rencontres de philosophie médiévale.

International Congresses
The 2027 Congress will take place in Zagreb (Croatia), 23-27 August 2027: "Philosophy in Dialogue in the Middle Ages"
The International Congress of Medieval Philosophy is organized every five years. The proceedings of these congresses are published in the series Rencontres de philosophie médiévale.
